TOPPING OUT AT NEW GARDEN SQUARE

In June 2023, we celebrated the topping out of the first phase of New Garden Square in Edgbaston, Birmingham with our client Developer Operator Moda Living and landowner Calthorpe Estates. Team members, Members of Birmingham City Council and other key stakeholders enjoyed the views from the thirteenth floor of the build-to-rent project.

ROAD OVER RAIL – BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION AT SLPN

We spoke about the lifting of the 188 tonnes bridge beams at SEGRO Logistics Park Northampton on the previous page, and here you can see the operation in action. Our timelapse video shows the construction programme of the bridge which takes the Roade bypass over the West Coast Main Line.

WINVIC ENRICHMENT PROGRAMME LOVED BY BBC LOOK EAST

When we launched the Winvic Enrichment Programme – which you can read all about on page 18 – Janine Machin from BBC Look East came to The Hub at DIRFT to meet BTEC Engineering students from Northampton College and our Talent Development Manager. That day our team and subcontract partners were showing the students plant and drone equipment and the east of England got to see it too on the news!

RAISING THOUSANDS FOR CHARITY ON NATIONAL FITNESS DAY

On the 21st of September 2023 we set ourselves a challenge to keep three pieces of cardio equipment running for 24 hours for National Fitness Day. While we wanted to improve the health and wellbeing of our workforce, we also wanted to raise funds for The Bee Hive Northgate School Arts College, Lighthouse Club East Midlands, Noah's Ark Children's Hospital Charity, and The Air Ambulance Serviceand we set a target of £20,000. At the time of publication, the total on our Just Giving Page is £30,000!!!

SUPPORTING PROLOGIS 100

2023 year marks the 14th Prologis UK cycle ride and in September a team of Winvic cyclists completed 100 miles of rolling Northamptonshire countryside. Prologis’ charity rides have contributed towards helping countless people and this year money was raised for Breast Friends, Battens Disease Family Association (BDFA) and LandAid.

The new rail tunnel is now complete, with on-site rail works continuing through the Autumn period. Network Rail will be undertaking preliminary work on site to enable a future connection of the Northampton loop to the West Coast Mainline. @SEGROplc @NationalHways @networkrail

#WorldWaterWaterWeek we are showcasing our employees who took to the water on paddleboards via the @onplanetpatrol portal to clean up the River Ouse, using their Employee Volunteering day to make a positive difference in our waterways
